History

Due to a lack of in-person competitive math and chess resources for elementary and middle school students in the local community, three friends—enthusiasts of both subjects—came up with the idea to collaborate. Their goal is to provide valuable resources, share insights from their own learning experiences, and organize in-person math and chess classes and competitions.

JAFLEZmathchess is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with adult and student volunteers.

Who we are

We are a group of local chess and math enthusiasts dedicated to helping kids excel in competitive math and chess. By sharing our knowledge and experience, we aim to inspire and empower young learners in these subjects.
